The Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services (SCDJWS) is a very good exam to test your skill level in Web Services. The paper consists of 69 questions carefully selected from a wide range of topics and different phases of WebService(WS) Design & Development. The Security aspect of the  WS needs to be done thoroughly, also questions will be asked about J2EE architecture as well, hence one must  go through J2EE  architecture diagram & configuration material before appearing for the test.

Recemonded read at least once.

must do servcie endpoint design (i.e. 3 chapter)

JAXB easy to understand and implement from here, also the Mock Test @ this website is a great way to test your preparation for the final test.

5. http://java.boot.by/wsd-guide/
Go through this website really good resource to understand the topics, the contents are mentioned as per the syllabus of SCDJWS. Chap 5 onwards reading seems mandatory .

Also Read the J2EE architecture framework and security issues.
